Reduced Infection Rates - Cost Saving

Within this analysis the infection rates were reduced to 3% using Prontosan® versus 13% using Saline.

This analysis does not include the reduction in costs, due to a reduction in infection rates.

The cost savings of reduced infections provides a reduction in cost due to the average treatment for infection, which potentially can cost up to £1000 - £2000, the reduction in this will provide extra cost savings.
